Jay R. McLemore

Jay McLemore founded McLemore Law, PLLC. He has over twenty-five years of litigation experience, concentrating in the areas of coverage evaluation, defense of personal injury claims (automobile, trucking and wrongful death), premises liability claims, mechanics and materialmen’s liens, food poisoning cases, wills and workers’ compensation defense. He holds first chair trial experience in jury and bench trials in both state and federal court. Enjoying legal advocacy, he has also completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy course in Boulder, Colorado.

 


A native of Macon, Georgia, Jay graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1993 with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He received his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1996. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. He is also admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in Tennessee and Mississippi, as well as the Northern District of Georgia and the Middle District of Alabama. He is a registered attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

 


Jay resides in Franklin with his wife, Sue, and their three children. He and his family attend Christ Community Church. In his free time he enjoys cooking, flying, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking.

Don R. Ferguson

Don Ferguson is an Associate Attorney at McLemore Law, PLLC. He has six years of experience in civil litigation, concentrating in personal injury claims, premises liability claims, products liability claims, insurance coverage evaluation, social security disability, and will and estate preparation.  Don holds first chair trial experience in jury trials in the state of Tennessee and has also completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy course in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

 

Don, originally from Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a B.A. in History and an Associate’s Degree in Business.  He received his law degree from Charlotte School of Law in 2015 (magna cum laude) and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and the Middle District of Tennessee.

 

 

Don resides in Cane Ridge, Tennessee with his wife, Keshia.  In his free time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, watching football and going to Nashville Sounds games.

Carley Podlasek


Carley Podlasek joined McLemore Law PLLC in December of 2022 and works as the firm's paralegal.  She has a juris doctorate degree from Western New England School of Law where she graduated in 2021.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut in 2018.  She is originally from Farmington, Connecticut.
